💨 Abstract

Britain's first electric flying taxi, the VX4, completed a successful flight over the Cotswolds. Developed by Vertical Aerospace, it can reach 150 mph, carries four passengers, and can take off and land vertically. The aircraft, approved by the Civil Aviation Authority, boasts a range of up to 100 miles. The government aims to make flying taxis a reality by 2028 as part of a zero-emission transport initiative.
