A study by Available Car revealed the UK cities with the poorest electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. Liverpool, Newcastle, Bradford, and Leeds have the fewest chargers per 100,000 people within a five-mile radius of their city centers. Ripon and Salisbury topped the list for the best charging accessibility. Leicester had the slowest charging times, averaging 8.25 hours for a half-charge, while Wakefield had the fastest at 0.8
