💨 Abstract
The United States, with British support, conducted airstrikes on Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen, hitting over a dozen targets in five locations. The attacks targeted extremist bases and weapons installations in response to recent attacks on American warships in the Red Sea. The Houthi rebels launched multiple missiles and drones at US vessels, but all were intercepted. The Middle East is awaiting potential action from Israel against Iran.
