💨 Abstract
An 8-year-old boy, Weston Keisler, was severely injured in a dog attack in Goole, East Yorkshire. The incident on May 11 left him with profound face injuries, a broken arm, and required five hours of reconstructive surgery. He has since returned home and is recovering well. The family's two other dogs and the community's support have helped, but Weston is wary of dogs, especially larger breeds, and nervous about his appearance.
