💨 Abstract
During a flight from Kaohsiung International Airport, an ATR 72-600 plane's engine panel detached, flapping dangerously near the propeller, causing panic among passengers. The pilots declared an emergency and safely returned to the airport. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of this mechanical failure. This incident follows a recent fatal crash of a police plane in Thailand, where only one passenger survived.
