💨 Abstract
A 13-year-old schoolboy, Aras Rudzianskas, died trying to save his friend in the River Tyne. On the anniversary of his death, his mother, Egle Rudzianskas, described him as her "everything" and expressed her inability to cope with her loss. Aras and his 14-year-old friend, David Radut, both from Newcastle, were tragically swept away by the river's current.
