💨 Abstract
A 91-year-old woman, Doreen Turner, died after her car drove into a canal in Chichester, West Sussex. The coroner's investigation found no mechanical issues with the car or impairments in Turner's driving. However, the kerb at the end of the road was shorter than standard, prompting the coroner to urge West Sussex County Council to install more safety measures to prevent future incidents. This is the second fatal crash in the area in five years.
