💨 Abstract
Figen Murray, whose son Martyn Hett was killed in the 2017 Manchester Arena bombing, has successfully campaigned for tighter terror laws. Martyn's Law, named after her son, will mandate venues with capacities over 200 to have plans and staff training to handle terror incidents. Figen marched 200 miles to Downing Street, pushing through her pain to meet then-opposition leader Keir Starmer, who promised and delivered new legislation.
