💨 Abstract
On May 21, 2025, Elias Rodriguez, a 30-year-old man from Chicago, shot and killed two Israeli embassy workers, Yaron Lisinsky and Sarah Milgrim, outside the Jewish museum in Washington DC. The couple, who were engaged, were leaving an event when Rodriguez approached them and opened fire. After the shooting, Rodriguez chanted "Free Palestine" and was apprehended by security personnel.
