💨 Abstract
A wave of strikes by hotel staff in the Spanish Balearic Islands is planned for this summer, affecting Mallorca, Ibiza, and Menorca. The UGT union, demand better pay and conditions, and is planning significant disruption during the peak June and July holiday season. This includes a mass walk-out on June 6, followed by several days of strike action in July. Specific demonstrations are planned for popular beach spots like Platja de Palma and Palmanova-Magaluf.
