💨 Abstract
Oscar Smith, 75, the oldest inmate on death row, was executed for the 1989 murders of his ex-wife and her teenagers. In his final words, Smith declared his innocence and criticized the justice system. He was convicted of fatally stabbing and shooting Judith Smith and her sons and has long maintained his innocence despite evidence suggesting otherwise.
