💨 Abstract

Colombia's tourists are being targeted by gangs using "Devil’s Breath," a potent drug derived from the Borrachero tree. Scopolamine, or burundanga, can render victims compliant and susceptible to commands, making them vulnerable to robbery, kidnapping, or murder. Administered through drinks, gums, or even business cards, the drug has led to increased tourist fatalities and robberies. The CIA previously examined it as a truth serum.
