💨 Abstract
The UK is expected to face strong winds of up to 50mph and heavy showers daily next week, marking a wet start to June after one of the driest Mays on record. Northern regions have had their driest start to the year since 1929. Temperatures will fluctuate, with some southern areas reaching 21C mid-week. The warmer weather is not expected to return until the school half-term.
