💨 Abstract

A British woman, Michelle Swain, claims her son, Jamie Swain, was set up when a small amount of cocaine was found in his passport at Phuket International Airport in Thailand. Jamie, 29, was arrested and faced severe penalties under Thailand's strict drug laws. Michelle, 57, alleges that Jamie had already passed through two other airports without issue, suggesting foul play. Jamie was detained for nearly three months, fined, and deported.
