Milla Magee, Miss England, accused Miss World of exploiting contestants, stating they were "made to feel like prostitutes" and had to entertain wealthy sponsors. She walked out, citing a false family emergency. Miss World organizer Julia Morley disputed her claims, citing compassion and support. Magee felt miserable and alleges she was made to perform on demand. Her mother confirmed she was left to find her own way back and claimed Miss World offered no help.
