💨 Abstract
Hashem Abedi, the Manchester Arena bomber, was awarded over £1,200 in legal aid to pursue an equal rights case in prison. This brings his total to £354,015, largely for his trial defense, despite his refusal to participate in the court process. The claim came before his attack on prison guards. Abedi was convicted for aiding his brother's terrorist attack and additional charges for assaulting prison officers.
