💨 Abstract
Oscar Pistorius' father, Henke, admits that he and his son barely communicate because Henke doesn't accept Pistorius's murder conviction. Pistorius, known as the "Blade Runner," was released from prison in 2024 after serving nine years for the murder of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp. He maintains that he mistook Steenkamp for an intruder. Henke believes his son was fearful and maturely processing the event, not a guilty murderer.
