💨 Abstract
A former Tory MP, Crispin Blunt, 64, will not face charges for a rape allegation due to insufficient evidence, Surrey Police confirmed. Blunt was initially detained in October 2023 on suspicions of rape and drug possession. He denied the allegations and accused the accuser of attempted extortion. The investigation into the drug possession charge continues, involving Blunt and another man in his 50s.
