💨 Abstract
A former Royal Marine commando, Paul Doyle, is set to appear in court charged with dangerous driving and causing grievous bodily harm after plowing into a crowd at a Liverpool parade. Nearly 80 people, including a nine-year-old girl, were injured. Doyle, a businessman, is also charged with wounding with intent and attempted grievous bodily harm. The incident occurred during a Liverpool FC title celebration parade, with the car following an ambulance past security cordons.
