💨 Abstract
Two prisoners, Ashirie Smith and Thierry Robinson, were recorded on CCTV attacking fellow inmate Mahir Abdulrahman in his cell at HMP Fosse Way, Leicestershire. The 37-second assault left Abdulrahman with fatal head injuries, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Smith was sentenced to life with a minimum of 17.5 years for murder, while Robinson received 11 years for manslaughter.
