💨 Abstract
Russia has banned comparing Vladimir Putin to Hitler, deeming it illegal and harmful to state interests. This move is part of a broader crackdown on dissent, with 12 websites and numerous online images and videos linking Putin to Hitler being banned. Critics inside and outside Russia have made such comparisons due to the brutality of Putin's actions, particularly his invasion of Ukraine. Despite the ban, critics continue to find ways to express their dissent.
