💨 Abstract
Portuguese police have set up a major search operation near the former home of Madeleine McCann suspect Christian Brueckner, raising hopes of a breakthrough in the 17-year-old case. Officers are preparing to search 21 pieces of privately-owned land, including wells and ruins, for any signs of Madeleine's body. The search, requested by German authorities and approved by Portuguese officials, will run from June 2 to June 6.
