💨 Abstract

In Majorca, a 4-year-old British boy had his hand sucked into a swimming pool pipe at the Hotel Zafiro. After attempting to pull him out manually, emergency services drained the pool and removed the pipe to free the boy. He was hospitalized but had no serious injuries. The incident is under investigation for potential hotel negligence. The hotel expressed gratitude from the family and promised to review and strengthen safety measures. Previously, similar incidents in Tenerife and Egypt resulted in fatalities.
