In Florida, a 41-year-old mother, Rhonda Paulynice, has been charged with second-degree murder after allegedly killing her 6-year-old son, Ra'myl Pierre, during an attempted exorcism. Paulynice told authorities that she believed her son was possessed by demons and suffocated him. She was arrested after a school resource deputy noticed Ra'myl's prolonged absence from school.
