💨 Abstract
The seaside town of Grange-over-Sands in Cumbria plans a £6.8 million revamp of its promenade and abandoned lido. The town, known for its charm and cafes, aims to restore its lido, closed since 1993 and filled with weeds. The revamp also includes renovating the 2.4-mile promenade, with work delayed due to issues with the historic structures. Completing the renovation is now planned beyond this summer.
