💨 Abstract
Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) conducted a successful drone operation, code-named Spiderweb, which destroyed a third of Russia's nuclear bomber fleet. The operation, overseen by President Volodymyr Zelensky, marks Ukraine's deepening capability in intelligence and sabotage, reminiscent of WW2 tactics. The cost-effective attack, using 117 cheap drones, caused $7 billion in damage and crippled Russia's capabilities as peace talks were beginning.
