On Appleby Horse Fair, a stall and tent caught fire, producing dense smoke. As firefighters arrived, the crowd watched, some attempting to move flammable items. Stallholders also disrupted the tent nearby, while bystanders were pushed back. Appleby visitors cheered as the fire was extinguished.
