💨 Abstract

Max, 6, and Sam Johnson, 7, were found dead in their rural Australian home on May 5. An autopsy revealed they had been drugged and smothered, allegedly by their grandmother, 66-year-old Kathleen Heggs. Heggs was arrested and later charged with two counts of domestic violence murder. She reportedly sent a text to authorities confessing to the crimes and attempting suicide.
