💨 Abstract

In 1983, six armed robbers dressed as security guards stole £26 million worth of gold and diamonds from Brink’s-Mat's Heathrow depot in one of the UK's largest heists. No trace of the robbers and the money was found initially. Police eventually identified the infamous "crime of the century" gang. Bryn "The Nutter" McAvoy was the gang leader and the youngest member.
