💨 Abstract
During a live broadcast on France 24’s Spanish-language TV news in Bogota, Colombia, a magnitude 6.5 earthquake struck. Presenter Helena Lozano remained calm and professional, urging viewers to stay calm and evacuate if necessary. The quake, one of the strongest in years, caused panic in the capital and left four injured. It was followed by a 4.0 magnitude aftershock, causing significant damage, especially in shanty neighborhoods.
