💨 Abstract

A Russian military satellite, Kosmos-2558, has been orbiting near a U.S. spy satellite, USA-326, since 2022 (some believe it might have capabilities to monitor or attack U.S. assets). On June 26, 2025, it deployed a new object, Object C, which is presumed to be a maneuverable sub-satellite, potentially armed with anti-satellite weapons.
