💨 Abstract
A builder in Norwich was severely injured after an XL Bully dog, Ozzy, escaped and attacked him during a tea break. The attack required surgery, potentially leaving the builder with permanent leg damage. The owner, Daniel Savino, faces sentencing and a potential prison term for having a dog dangerously out of control. Ozzy, although registered exempt, may be ordered for destruction. The attack occurred despite new legislation restricting XL Bully ownership without certification.
