💨 Abstract
King Charles III has ordered a £160,000 electric Lotus Eletre, painted in royal claret, for personal use at his estates. This move suggests he may replace the state Bentleys with electric vehicles if Bentley cannot provide plug-in versions. The King has shown a preference for eco-friendly cars, such as his current Audi Q8. The Lotus, made in Norfolk, is partially owned by a Chinese company.
