💨 Abstract
Major General Sir Christopher Airy, former aide to King Charles and Princess Diana, has died at 91. He served briefly as their private secretary from 1990 to 1991 as their marriage deteriorated. Airy, who previously commanded the Army's Household Division, struggled with the royal couple's marital issues, which led to his resignation. After retiring, he focused on charity work, particularly supporting veterans. Sir Christopher is survived by a son and two daughters.
