💨 Abstract
Michaela Tabb, a pioneering snooker referee, has retired from officiating traditional snooker matches at 57. She made history as the first female to referee a World Championship final in 2009 and officiated several high-profile matches. Tabb cited her age and the emergence of new talent, including fellow female referee Desislava Bozhilova, as reasons for her decision.
