💨 Abstract

Vinicius de Oliveira Cabral de Souza, known as Vini, a former Manchester United youth player, was found dead in his bedroom at 19. The inquest revealed he had quit football a few months earlier and had been struggling with depression. His sister noted changes in his behavior and mood, including social withdrawal and increased self-isolation. Despite Vini's family's supportive efforts, the coroner ruled his death as suicide.
