💨 Abstract
Nottingham Forest fans noticed an unusual feature in the seating of their stadium—an 'e' in lowercase within an otherwise all-capital word. This design, present since 1973, was created by fan and calligrapher David Lewis. Lewis explained that the lowercase 'e' makes the word "Forest" distinctive and personal, fitting better between the 'R' and 'S'.
