💨 Abstract
During the final day of the Premier League season, Aston Villa had a controversial disallowed goal against Manchester United. Morgan Rogers scored, but the referee blew the whistle too early, thinking Rogers had kicked the ball out of the goalkeeper's hands. Replays showed the goal should have stood, but Premier League rules prevent retroactive goal awards after the whistle. Villa missed out on the Champions League due to this error and are considering an official complaint.
