💨 Abstract
UEFA will introduce a significant change to the Champions League for the next season. Previously, top-eight teams had no home advantage in the knockout stages. Starting from the upcoming season, these teams will play the second leg of their ties at home. This change is expected to apply to the Europa League and Conference League as well. Thanks to this decision Arsenal and Barcelona experienced home matches only during the final matches. UEFA officials agreed on the change ahead of the Champions League final, pending ratification in September.
