At a fan talent show before the Tyne-Wear derby, a comedian named Dan made a joke about Alexander Isak's struggles at Liverpool, comparing his performance to a heart transplant. The joke left Sunderland players Wilson Isidor and Noah Sadiki laughing, with Isidor noting, "It’s not funny, man, he had a heart attack." Isak previously played for Newcastle and scored against Sunderland in the FA Cup.
