💨 Abstract
DANGEROUS UPP-branded e-bike batteries, previously banned by the government due to fire and explosion risks, have been found on Facebook Marketplace. Initially removed from Amazon, eBay, and Alibaba, these batteries can reach 600°C, releasing toxic gases and causing hard-to-extinguish fires. Despite Meta's efforts to remove listings, several were still found in various UK regions.
