💨 Abstract
A Japanese private spacecraft, the Resilience Moon Lander by ispace, crashed during a lunar landing attempt. The failure was due to issues in measuring the distance to the moon's surface, causing it to land too fast. This is ispace's second failed moon landing after a 2023 attempt. The company faces financial stabilization, despite government and private sector interest in lunar exploration.
