đź’¨ Abstract
London Waterloo, one of the UK's oldest train stations, opened in 1848 and once had direct Eurostar trains to Paris, Lille, and Brussels from the 1990s until 2007. Now, it is undergoing a decade-long renovation to improve access, add new entrances, and upgrade facilities. The station, which is the third busiest in the UK with around 57 million passengers annually, will retain its 24 platforms.
