💨 Abstract

Severe floods have struck the French Riviera, with significant damage in Nice, Marseilles, and other regions. Météo-France has issued flood warnings for these areas until May 22, 2025. Heavy rainfall since May 19 has caused flooding, power outages, and road closures, resulting in at least three deaths in Le Lavandou. Flights to and from Nice continue, but ground travel is disrupted.
