💨 Abstract
The £2 billion "super station" at Old Oak Common, London, has begun construction. It aims to serve 250,000 passengers daily with six platforms for high-speed HS2 trains. The station will also connect to eight other train lines, including the Heathrow Express and the Elizabeth Line. Completion is expected between 2029 and 2033, with additional public amenities like a park and market events planned.
