Tempany Deckert, known for playing Selina Cook on "Home and Away," left acting to focus on writing and family. She teaches writing at UCLA, is a motivational speaker, and has authored 18 children's books. After appearing in "Wentworth" and the Netflix series "Dahmer," she acknowledged feeling relieved about quitting acting to concentrate on her writing career and raising children. Currently based in Los Angeles, she expresses a desire to return to Australia.
