💨 Abstract

Olympic champion Tom Daley revealed that he earned less than £30,000 for winning five Olympic medals, including one gold, for Britain. He explained that athletes are paid based on their performance, with higher tiers for better results. Daley noted that he was fortunate to supplement his income with sponsorships and endorsements, suggesting that many athletes need more support. He also shared that he has not dived since retiring and avoids pools while on holiday.
