Barbara Ferris, a former model and actress, died at 85. She is known for her role as Nona Willis in "Coronation Street" (1961). Her role ended after she struggled with the local accent then she appeared in the 1965 film "Catch Us If You Can" and subsequently retired to raise her family. Ferris worked in commercials and pantomimes. She is survived by her husband and three children.
