💨 Abstract
Emmy-winning writer Steve Pepoon, known for his work on "The Simpsons" and the co-creation of "The Wild Thornberrys," has passed away at 68. He succumbed to cardiac amyloidosis, a heart condition, on May 3 outside his home in Paola, Kansas, confirmed by his wife, Mary Stephenson. Pepoon had been in treatment for the condition for the past two years.
