💨 Abstract
Kevin Sanders, a dog groomer in Alexandria, Virginia, was arrested for animal cruelty after an anonymous tip alleged abuse leading to the death of one dog and harming others. Sanders faces one felony count of animal cruelty resulting in death and four misdemeanors. The grooming business's owner, Paul Haire, stated that the dog died from a pre-existing heart condition but admitted Sanders did not properly handle the dog's distress, which may have contributed to its stress.
